THE COTTAGE
The cottage is located 5 minutes from Malmedy, a center of attraction in the province of Liège. A natural paradise for young and old, as well for hikers, cyclists or sports enthusiasts as lovers of gastronomy and craft beers. Come and discover our CHAL’Heureux at the edge of the woods and enjoy an exceptional view. Ideally located: Malmedy center at 15 minutes walk, Francorchamps circuit at 11 km, Robertville lake at 8 km.
Malmedy: Major tourist and cultural center of attraction.
Nestled in the heart of the Ardennes, Malmedy is known for its carnival, its small chapels and its prestigious cathedral, its city crossed by rivers and streams. It is also the ideal place for the start of your walks: the woods and forests of the Ardennes will amaze you.

THE REGION
Francorchamps Spa Circuit
The Spa-Francorchamps circuit hosts each year the Belgian F1 Grand Prix and the 24H endurance race at Spa. The most famous part of the circuit is the ‘Raidillon de l'Eau Rouge’ where the challenge of the pilots is to negotiate this double turn at full speed. It is one of the favourite circuits for speed enthusiasts.
Robertville Lake
The Robertville- les Bains site: an outdoor swimming pool, in a wonderful natural site with very pure water. Diving board and aquatic trampoline are available. The surroundings of this natural swimming pool border lawns and a sandy beach to the delight of children.
Reinhardstein Castle
Stroll between armour and paintings while discovering the chests or tapestries. Discover the entire main building (knights 'room, guards' room, chapel and apartments) and the dungeon on a guided tour lasting about an hour. Many events are organized during the year. The annual medieval festival is accompanied by themed weekends (music concerts, exhibitions, tastings, night walks…) to satisfy young and old alike.
Peak Brewery
Go behind the scenes of the Belgium Peak Beer production from malt crushing to bottling. Martin, the brewer, will explain all the secrets of beer. All followed by a good tasting.
Plopsa Coo
At the foot of the Coo waterfall, this amusement park will delight young and old.
Walks
Several hundred km of all kinds of walks enable you to travel across our fields and forests from the Amblève to the Fagnes ...
